The End of the World? A class on the book of Revelation

Sundays, January 15 - February 19, 1:00pm

The Book of Revelation is one of the most mysterious books in all of Scripture. It is full of images and apocalyptic language. Consequently, it is one of the most misunderstood books. This six week class will be a brief look at this book and what it has to say to a Church in the 21st century. We will be meeting in the sanctuary after church at 1:00pm. There will be a short time in between worship and this class for people to go and grab some lunch. Or if you like bring a sack lunch and have fellowship at the Church with other people.

The Presence

Wednesdays, January 25 - February 15, 7:00pm

For many people prayer is something that they know they should do and yet find it very difficult. They struggle with having a prayer life because generally they have only been taught how to "ask" for things in prayer. While that is a form of prayer, and a very good one, it is only one part of prayer. There are other ways of praying and other forms. This class will be looking at 5 different forms of prayer that can be used by Christians to deepen their prayer life:

1. Praying the Daily Office
2. Praying the Rosary
3. Meditative Prayer
4. Lectio Divina
5. Contemplative Prayer

Join us on Wednesdays at 7:00pm for practical look at prayer as we prepare for Lent.

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, February 22, 7:00am, 12:00pm & 7:00pm

We will gather on Wednesday, Feb. 22 to begin our journey of prayer and fasting through the season of Lent.  This solemn service calls us to fresh repentance and reminds us through prayer, the reading of Scripture, and the imposition of ashes that we are in constant need of Christ.  Join us at 7am, 12pm, or 7pm.

Thursday Night Prayer
