Our Name
Advent is not just a season on the Church calendar but a significant theological truth. Advent means "appearing," and the Church talks about Jesus' first and second coming as His advents. Our church has taken the name Advent because of its theological implications, for the vocation of all Christians is to implement Jesus' first advent while at the same time anticipating His second.
